About This Song

This fun song teaches the Book of Mormon story of Lehi’s Dream, as found in 1 Nephi, chapter 8. You will need at least 3 singers for this song, but it would also work well for a larger group.

Begin by dividing into three groups and teaching each group one of the song’s three parts. Then sing as follows:

Part 1 alone. (sung by group 1)
Part 2 alone. (sung by group 2)
Parts 1 and 2 together. (sung by groups 1 and 2)
Part 3 alone. (sung by group 3)
All parts together. (sung by all three groups)

It may be helpful to have someone helping each group. For variety, you can give each group a turn singing the different parts.
