Winner of a Special Recognition in the 2015 LDS Church Music Submission, under its original title, “He’ll Strengthen My Hands.”

This beautiful song tenderly teaches children why they came to earth and how to hold on to what is most important in life.

I wrote this song in the days when half the world was singing “Let it Go.”  Yes, some things in life are worth letting go, but in matters of faith and truth, we must hold on firmly.

How can we hold to God’s plan when the world is constantly working to weaken our grip?  The answer is found in Philippians 4:13.  “I can do all things through Christ, who strengtheneth me.”
