About This Song
Late-intermediate/early advanced piano.2020 was a rough year for our family. A year in which I did not think I could write any music. I just didn’t have it in me. One day in late November I pondered on the current state of the world with its worry and weariness, heartache and hatred, division and despair. A line of music played in my mind:
“A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices.”
It was time to compose again, and it needed to be a Christmas song.
