About This Song

This song is an echo of the many prayers I have sent up to the Lord in times of darkness and uncertainty.  In our ever-darkening world, the shadows of fear and doubt may creep into our hearts and homes.  But the light of the Savior dispels all darkness.

I felt that this song needed to end with a message of hope, so I added a fourth verse.  It reminds us that the Savior can give us strength to move forward with faith, no matter how dark the night. 

This song was a finalist in the choral category of the 2016 LDS Church Music Submission.
